It all starts with a thought. A picture of what could be. An image of ourselves achieving that which we desire. Do you have one? And more importantly, do you believe it?
If we truly want to succeed at something, we must first have within us the core belief that we can do it, that it is possible.
So how do you know if that something is possible for you? Well, just take a look around you. Is there someone you know, someone you’ve seen or read about that has already accomplished that which you would like to do?
If so, then it’s possible for you! For if they can do it, you can do it too. If one person has done it, then we all can do it.
It’s this underlying belief in the possible which leads our mind to start searching for and noticing all the different ways or items that could help get us to that goal. It serves as a self-motivating drive, a quiet confidence that propels us to continually seek solutions through the slow times, the disappointments, and the failures.
Success is never quick or easy. It’s a long journey that takes a lot of dedication, practice, and discipline. But know that every successful accomplishment you’ve ever heard about began its journey at the same place – A thought united with the belief in its possibility.
